Therapy for High-Achieving Professionals in New York and Massachusetts

Find clarity, balance, and energy to thrive in work and life.

Success can feel exhausting when you’re trying to do it all. Your mind races, your body holds the tension, and finding a moment to pause feels challenging. Even when things look “together” on the outside, it can feel like you’re pushing through just to keep up. Over time, that pressure can leave you feeling disconnected from yourself and unsure of how to truly slow down.

You don’t have to navigate this alone.

Imagine if you could:

  • Move through your day with focus and flow instead of constant stress

  • Release the tension your body holds from pushing too hard

  • Reconnect with your energy, motivation, and sense of purpose

  • Honor your own limits

  • Be more present and confident in work, relationships, and life

  • Thrive in a way that feels sustainable, fulfilling, and aligned with your goals

Relief isn’t about doing more or pushing harder - it’s about creating space to breathe, tune in, and reconnect with yourself.

Holistic Therapy for High-Achievers

High-achievers often carry stress in both their mind and body. You’re used to pushing yourself, juggling responsibilities, and holding everything together, but over time, that constant pressure can leave you feeling exhausted and stuck in overdrive. This approach to therapy helps you slow down, release what you’ve been holding, and reconnect with a more grounded, clear, and energized version of yourself.

EMDR Therapy: EMDR helps your brain process past experiences or stress that still impact you today, freeing up energy and mental space.

Brainspotting: Brainspotting works with deeper areas of the brain where stress and tension are stored, helping you release what talking alone often can’t reach.

Parts Work: Many high-achievers have inner parts that feel responsible for keeping it all together or getting everything “right.” Parts work helps you understand these patterns, ease the internal pressure, and respond to yourself with more compassion.

Together, these approaches support you in feeling lighter, calmer, and more balanced so you can show up more fully in your work, relationships, and daily life.

Hi, I’m Deanna!

I know what it’s like to feel constantly “on.” I’ve been there - racing thoughts, tension in my body, and the pressure to do everything perfectly. As a high-achiever myself, I understand how exhausting it can be when you’re always striving for more and never feel fully at ease. EMDR, Brainspotting, and parts work helped me slow down, release tension, and feel more grounded.

In therapy with me, we go beyond just talking about your worries. I create a space where you can pause, notice how stress shows up in your body, and uncover the patterns that keep you stuck. Using EMDR, Brainspotting, and parts work, we help you release what you’ve been carrying and build the self-compassion to slow down without guilt—so you can feel steadier, calmer, and more present in both work and life.

You don’t have to run on empty to succeed. Calm, clarity, and balance are within reach.

FAQS

Frequently Asked Questions about Therapy

  • Traditional talk therapy focuses mainly on discussing thoughts and feelings. While talking is valuable, I also use EMDR, Brainspotting, and parts work to address how stress, tension, and past experiences are stored in your body and nervous system. This helps you release what words alone can’t reach and creates shifts in how you feel and respond.

  • Yes! You can attend sessions from home in New York and Massachusetts.

  • We start by exploring your experiences and patterns. Sessions combine talking with body-based techniques to help you process stress and build self-compassion. Over time, this helps you feel calmer, clearer, and more balanced.

    • 60-minute session: $222

    • 90-minute session: $333

    • Therapy intensives: Customized longer sessions for deeper work

Extended sessions give you extra time to dive deeper, process more in one sitting, and work through patterns that might take several shorter sessions to address. They’re a great option if you want faster, more focused progress.

  • I don’t take insurance, but I do accept HSA and FSA payments. I can provide a superbill so you can submit it to your insurance for possible reimbursement.

Choosing not to bill insurance allows me to focus completely on you and your therapy - no session limits, approvals, or paperwork interfering with your care. This also gives us the flexibility to use EMDR, Brainspotting, parts work, and extended sessions in the way that best supports your goals. Many clients find this approach more personalized, effective, and freeing than going through insurance.
